Statistical Accounts of Orkney 1791-1845
From 1 August 2019, the Statistical Accounts of Scotland Online website will be hosted by the University of Edinburgh Library for a period of two years. Scans, transcripts, map-based searching and our Related Resources will be available free of charge to all users.
The 2 account periods 1791-95 and 1832-45 give detailed descriptions for each parish covering Geography & Natural History, Population, Production and other set queries, have been digitised and can be viewed online.

St Magnus Cathedral Graveyard - 7th March 2016
One of the Society's largest projects has now been completed.
The 1400+ stones in St Magnus Cathedral Graveyard have all been transcribed, photographed and surveyed.
The graveyard is fully indexed and can be searched through the MI page.
